Lovely story for children
Some of the best dog stories ever. The book I bought was on so so shape but not different than described
This book is a great example of canine loyalty, and written by one of the best dog men in history... Good buy.
Lifelong Dream Came True I have searched for 40 years to find this book!!!!!! I have read it twice since I got it, bringing back my childhood with my own dogs! Some happy tears and painful tears, a great read for any age, whoever loves dogs. Mr. Terhune makes you feel you are standing right there watching the action and tenderness of every scene. Buy this book, pass it down to the grandkids!!!!
Because of My Friend The Dog I now love reading short stories. I love anything to do with animals, dogs and horse stories I enjoy the most. When I was young I would escape into this book and forget all about my life and how bad it was. My step dad bought this book for me from a thrift store, my kids decorated it and than I lost the book due to having to move. Now once again I own it and will be enjoying reading it tell I can no longer read and than I hope someone will read it to me. Anyone who loves dogs will enjoy this book.
